Sometimes in the studio, the dye decides it’s in charge. The artist sets the stage - ice, color, timing - but every once in a while the shirt ignores all guidance and becomes exactly what it wants to be. Drifted Avalon is one of those moments. The ice did its own thing, the dye followed its own path, and what showed up at the end couldn’t be planned, repeated, or recreated if we tried for a hundred years. When asked if another could be made, the artist laughed and said, “Not a chance. This one happened once.” The first person to claim it gets the only version that will ever exist - anywhere, ever, of its Albion kind.  Click the link for more pics. 

This shirt had its own story to tell. Once again, our dye artist had very little say in how this one ended. The ice was laid, the dye was placed, and the shirt… well… it pretty much blew raspberries and did exactly what it wanted. What emerged is a completely unduplicatable, one-of-a-kind piece straight out of the Avalon mist. As the studio artist laughed, “Another shirt went rogue.” We actually love when that happens. This piece exists exactly once - when it’s gone, it’s gone - and its person will own something as unique as the galaxy it came from. If it’s calling your name, grab it before someone else decides it belongs to them.
